What is a PU cast floor?

A PU floor is a floor made of polyurethane (PU). Polyestershoppen's polyurethane cast floor has a number of specific features:

  • Very UV resistant (unlike other PU floors).
  • Modern and warm appearance.
  • Low maintenance.
  • Seamless.
  • Strong and elastic.
  • Sound-damping.
  • Waterproof.

These features make a PU cast floor highly suitable for a living room, bathroom (anti-slip is possible), bedroom, office or similar areas!

Benefits of RESION PU Cast Flooring

Many PU screed systems are aromatic and therefore not UV-resistant. Therefore, the floors still need to be finished with a UV-resistant layer in colour with a transparent topcoat such as a matt-gloss coating over it. RESION PU Cast Floor, compared to other PU floors, is also UV-resistant without this additional finish! So this means that a RESION cast floor will not yellow under normal daylight exposure. In addition, the PU floor from Polyestershoppen is easy to process due to its good application properties and is available in every possible RAL colour. So you can always lay a floor according to your wishes and taste!

What is the difference between an epoxy floor and a PU floor?
