What is the difference between a cast floor and epoxy floor coating?

What is epoxy floor coating?

Epoxy floor coating is a durable coating that optimally protects the (company floor). The coating is applied with a roller. Just one layer of floor coating creates a wear-resistant epoxy floor of approximately 0.5 mm thick that is suitable for heavy loads. The floor is impact-resistant and highly resistant to acids and chemicals.

What is an epoxy cast floor?

An epoxy floor is a sleek, smooth floor finish. It is suitable for a garage, shed or work floor, for example. It withstands high loads and is resistant to acids and chemicals. The epoxy self-levelling screed always fits seamlessly. Just one layer creates a wear-resistant floor of 2 to 3 mm thickness.

What safety measures should I take while processing epoxy?

One of the advantages of processing epoxy is that this product does not contain solvents and therefore does not really smell. When working with epoxy you will smell a slight amine odour. It is important to avoid skin contact with epoxy as much as possible. Protect the skin with gloves and a disposable coverall. We recommend putting on old shoes and spiked soles, so you can walk on the floor during processing while the resin is still liquid.
