Dulon 43 is a teak sealer with a UV blocker for the protection of teak wood. Dulon Teak Protector is step 3 in the 3-step Teak Care System. For the previous steps and corresponding Dulon products please read the step-by-step plan or watch the video.
The revolutionary protection product with UV blocker is used on teak decking or furniture. It slows down the process of colouring/greying and prevents limescale and algae growth. Dulon 43 provides protection throughout the sailing season. In addition, the teak protector creates a water- and dirt-repellent coating and does not become greasy or slippery.
Directions for use
Shake the container before use. Surfaces should be clean and oil- and grease-free. Apply Dulon 43 Teak Protector pure, evenly and sparingly on to the surface using a flat brush or paint roller. Avoid runs and drips, remove excess product using a cloth or paper. Allow to dry for approximately 20-30 minutes. After at least 24 hours, Dulon 43 Teak Protector will be fully impregnated and activated. During this period do not expose to oil or water.
Teak treatment in 3 steps
- Step 1: degrease the teak (deck) or furniture with Dulon 41 (Teak Degreaser).
- Step 2: clean and restore to the original colour with Dulon 42 (Teak Clean & Restore).
- Step 3: impregnate and protect with Dulon 43 (Teak Protector).
