Biaxial carbon fibre cloth 100 g/m² is a lightweight structural carbon material composed of two layers of unidirectional carbon fibres oriented at an angle of ±45° to each other. This biaxial construction ensures efficient load distribution, resulting in an excellent combination of stiffness, strength and low weight.
This carbon fabric is particularly suitable for applications where the material is subjected to tensile, compressive and bending loads. Thanks to the straightened fibres, the fabric contains virtually no internal stresses, contributing to optimal mechanical performance. In addition, the fabric is highly flexible and easy to drape, allowing it to be applied smoothly and without wrinkles to complex shapes and double-curved surfaces.
Applications
Biaxial carbon fibre cloth 100 g/m² is widely used in high-performance, lightweight constructions, including:

Processing
For optimum mechanical properties, the use of epoxy resin is recommended. For decorative applications or cosmetic layers, the carbon fabric can also be processed with polyester resin. The material is suitable for various processing methods, such as:
- Hand lay-up.
- Wet bagging.
- Vacuum infusion.
Thanks to its flexible structure, this carbon fabric is easy to process, even around curves and complex shapes.
