Dulon 18 Polish & Wax Compound

Dulon 18 is a combination of polish and wax. The Polish & Wax compound allows you to polish and protect your boat in one step. This ensures a high-gloss protection during the entire sailing season. Dulon 18 is suitable for repairing lightly weathered, discoloured and dull surfaces. In addition, the wax removes small scratches, stains and streaks. This polish and wax combination is suitable for use on hard materials such as gelcoat, painted steel, painted wood and stainless steel. Due to the easy-on-easy-off principle, Dulon 18 is very easy to use.

Directions for use

Dulon 18 Wax Compound is easy to use and can be applied manually or with a machine. A 500 ml container of Dulon 18 is suitable for treating boats 10–15 metres in length.

Pre-treatment (if necessary)

• Use Dulon 22 (Hull & Waterline Clean) to remove limescale and brown and yellow marine stains.
• Use Predulon 00 to clean the surface of dirt, grease, oils and traces of old wax or silicone layers.

Manual polishing

1. Apply Dulon 18 with a damp microfibre cloth or applicator sponge using firm, circular motions.
2. Let the product dry, then buff the surface using a clean, lint-free microfibre cloth or polishing pad.

Machine polishing (recommended)

1. Apply a small amount of the compound to a damp medium polishing pad (white).
2. Spread the product over the surface before turning the machine on.
3. Polish the surface at low speed using slow, controlled movements (work horizontally and vertically).
4. Gradually increase the speed until the desired result is achieved.
5. Buff the surface with a sheepskin pad at high speed.
