Bostik Born2Bond Ultra K85 is a powerful cyanoacrylate adhesive suitable for extreme conditions. This adhesive offers excellent resistance to moisture and high temperatures and is the first bio-based cyanoacrylate adhesive tcapable of withstanding 85°C and 85% relative humidity for up to 1,000 hours. Born2Bond Ultra K85 is made from 60% bio-based content.
This bio-based cyanoacrylate adhesive has been specially developed for applications exposed to extreme and fluctuating environmental conditions, without compromising performance or durability.
Features of Born2Bond Ultra K85
- Resistant to 85°C/85% relative humidity for up to 1,000 hours.
- Resistant to 70°C for 10 days under water.
- 60% bio-based content from renewable resources (Arkema Oleris Advanced Bio-Materials).
- Elasticity up to 30%.
- Mild odour during application and curing.
- Non-irritating.
- High bonding strength with a fixture time of approx. 15 seconds, depending on the substrate.
- No hazard symbols (no labelling according to CLP Regulation).
