SCIGRIP SG5000-03 is a high strength 2-component methacrylate adhesive for bonding metals, plastics and composites. Most materials such as aluminum, steel and composite can be bonded without pretreatment.
This 2-component adhesive is strong and has a very good adhesion, even if the pretreatment is not optimal. The 1:1 non-critical mix ratio makes this adhesive less sensitive to mixing errors. In addition, the cartridge is easy to use; an application gun is not necessary. After mounting one of the supplied mixers, the material is ready for use. The processing time is 6 minutes. After this, the material will cure quickly. After approximately 30 minutes the adhesive is lightly load-bearing. Full strength is reached after 24 hours.
