What do you use the micro clay mitt (medium grade) for?

This clay mitt (medium grade) is designed to remove the last stubborn dirt from the surface of your car, boat or caravan that can cause scratches during polishing or applying a protective layer. Please note: the medium clay glove can cause marring and swirls on soft paints.

Our advice: are you planning to polish your car after claying or does the surface contain very stubborn dirt that will not come off with a fine grade clay mitt? Then use this medium grade clay mitt!

Directions for use

Use the clay mitt in the following way:

1. Wash the surface thoroughly with a quality car shampoo, such as Farécla G3 Pro Shampoo and rinse to remove coarse dirt. 
2. Wet the clay mitt.
3. Moisten the surface with a suitable lubricant such as Farécla Rapid Detailer Spray.
4. Rub the clay mitt over the surface in straight, short movements. Do not apply pressure but let the mitt glide smoothly over the paint.
5. Rub until the surface feels smooth. Check this by moving your hand over the surface.
6. Rinse the surface well.

The use of a lubricant is essential when using the clay mitt. Lubricant ensures that the clay glides effortlessly over the paint without causing scratches or damage.
