Mirka Microstar sanding discs are designed for dry sanding with a fine grit. Unlike many other sanding discs, the Mirka Microstar sanding discs have a polyester backing. This makes the sanding discs much more flexible than discs with, for example, a paper backing. Because of the high flexibility, you get a smoother sanding result. In addition, Mirka Microstar sanding discs have a very long service life, because the discs fill up much less quickly than traditional sanding paper. We recommend wet sanding with Mirka Microstar for an optimal result.
The diameter of the sanding discs is 150 mm and they are available in 800 up to and including 2500 grit. The Microstar sanding discs are also available as a box of 50.
