Mirka's classic and durable all-round sandpaper: Mirka Gold! Mirka's 'Gold' sandpaper has a strong aluminium oxide grain in a semi-open dusting. As dust is discharged along the grains, the sandpaper has a long life and does not fill up easily. The hole pattern makes the sanding discs suitable for any 150 mm sander from Mirka, Rupes, Festool, Bosch, Makita, 3M and similar machines.
These Mirka sanding discs have a diameter of 150 mm and are available in 60 to 800 grit. Gold P220 - P180 have a calcium-based stearate layer, making them very suitable for heavy sanding work. From Gold P220 onwards, the layer is zinc-based, making the discs less likely to fill up on softer applications.
