What is osmosis?

Osmosis is relatively easy to recognise by blisters in the underwater hull. Osmosis is a physical reaction that occurs when water and a (water-soluble) substance come into contact with your boat's gelcoat or paint system. The water will slowly penetrate through the gelcoat and other layers.
