Sikaflex-296 is an elastic one-component polyurethane windscreen adhesive with excellent gap-filling properties. This professional adhesive has been specially developed for almost all mineral glazing applications in the marine industry and cures by reacting with moisture in the air. It complies with the stringent international marine regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is Wheelmark certified.

Directions for use
Sikaflex-296 can be applied at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C (for both the ambient temperature and the product temperature). However, changes in curing behaviour and application properties should be taken into account. The optimum temperature for both the substrate and the adhesive is between 15°C and 25°C. Please note that the viscosity increases at lower temperatures. For easier application, allow the adhesive to reach ambient temperature before use.
