Directions for use
Born2Bond Flex is easy to use. Follow the instructions below:
- Before applying Born2Bond Flex, ensure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free.
- To use, component A and component B must be mixed. The product can be applied directly from the syringe using the supplied plunger and dispensed through the recommended mixing nozzle.
- Hold the syringe upright and insert the plunger. While keeping the syringe upright, remove the cap, attach the mixing nozzle, and dispense the adhesive until any bubbles in the smaller chamber have been removed.
- Dispense a small test amount on a piece of paper to ensure both components are sufficiently mixed.
- Apply the mixed adhesive to one of the bonding surfaces.
- Parts should be assembled immediately after the mixed adhesive has been applied.
- Bonds should be held in place by fixing or clamping until the adhesive has cured. Prevent assembled parts from moving during curing.
- The bond should be allowed to develop to full strength before being subjected to load (typically 24 hours).
