Bostik Born2Bond Repair

Bostik Born2Bond Repair is a gap-filling instant adhesive (super glue) and repair product with excellent adhesion to a very broad range of materials and surfaces. Born2Bond Repair is ideal for instant bonding and repair because it combines the strength of a structural adhesive with the speed of an instant adhesive. A tough polymer is formed in less than 10 minutes and the gel consistency enables application in any orientation.

Directions for use

Born2Bond Repair is easy to use. Follow the instructions below.

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free before applying Born2Bond Repair.
2. Mix component A and component B using the supplied mixing nozzle^*. 
3. Hold the syringe upright, remove the cap and attach the supplied mixing nozzle. The adhesive is automatically mixed as it is dispensed. Dispense a small amount of adhesive until any air bubbles have been removed. 
4. Dispense a small test amount onto a piece of paper to ensure both components are thoroughly mixed.
5. Apply the mixed adhesive to one of the bonding surfaces. 
   
   • Assemble the parts immediately after applying the mixed adhesive. 
   • Hold or clamp the parts in position until the adhesive has cured. Prevent any movement during curing. 
   • Allow the adhesive bond to fully cure before subjecting it to any load (typically 24 hours).
