Poltix Topcoat EB is a top quality vinylester topcoat for finishing polyester laminates. A vinylester topcoat is highly resistant to water, chemicals and high temperatures which makes it very suitable for applications in boat maintenance.

Instructions for use of Poltix Topcoat EB
Before applying the vinylester topcoat, please follow the instructions below:
- Make sure the surface is dry and free of grease, contamination, loose parts, previous (synthetic) paint layers and other impurities.
- Sand the surface with grit P60 - P80 and degrease with Double Coat Degreaser.
- Mix the vinylester topcoat thoroughly with 2% MEKP hardener.
- Preferably use a brush to apply the topcoat (this product is not suitable for airless application).
- Apply Poltix Topcoat EB evenly. Avoid thin spots in the layer and therefore apply sufficient material per layer.
