Product description
The well-known liquid MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) hardener for polyester resins, gelcoats and topcoats that are used in combination with a cobalt accelerator.
How much polyester hardener do you need?
The correct amount of MEKP hardener to add to a product depends the temperature and resin quantity. As a general guideline, we recommend 2%. This gives a working time of approximately 30 minutes (at 20℃) for the universal polyester laminating resin. Only mix the amount you can process within approximately 10 minutes and always follow the recommended dosage for the specific product.
