Hi-Build Artwork Resin
- Especially for Geodes + Blob Art
- High viscosity epoxy
- 1:1 mixing ratio
Hi-Build Artwork Resin is a high-viscosity two-component epoxy resin. The high-viscosity epoxy is one of the thickest and most controllable resins on the market, making it very suitable for Blob Art and for making geodes.
Hi-Build Artwork Resin is non-hazardous, non-toxic and has a high UV resistance. The resin is recommended for applications where the user wants the resin to stay in place, not collapse and not slide. The resin will stay where you dropped it!
Features
- Perfect for Blob Art, geodes and 3D collages
- Does not collapse
- Easy to use (1:1 mixing ratio)
- Non-flammable
- UV-resistant
- Solvent-free and odourless
Processing Hi-Build Artwork Resin
Weigh both components well (this resin has a simple 1:1 mixing ratio based on volume) and mix them well for 3-4 minutes. The Hi-Build Resin comes standard in an off-white colour and is therefore not transparent. You will therefore have to pigment this epoxy with, for example Resi-Tint MAX, Resi-Tint, Resi-Metal or similar Resin Art pigments. After you have mixed and coloured the high viscous epoxy, you can easily apply it to the substrate. You can apply the epoxy by dripping or dropping it from the mixing spatula. You can easily remove air bubbles with a gas burner. Do not hold the gas torch closer than 30 cm to the surface, otherwise you may damage the resin.
