Benefits of a lambswool polishing pad over a polishing pad/polishing sponge
You may be wondering what the advantages of a lambswool polishing pad compared to a regular polishing pad are. The main advantage of a lambswool pad is that the surface does not heat up as quickly. To work with a lambswool polishing pad, however, you do need an intermediate disc, which prevents heat build-up. We recommend using several pads when treating an entire boat. Rinse the sheepskin regularly in a bucket.
