Before polishing or washing your boat, it’s important to thoroughly clean the surface. Use Riwax RS Boat Clean to remove the worst dirt and grease. We always recommend using this product before starting with any other Riwax product.
Sanding is an optional step in the polishing process. First, assess the condition of the gelcoat or paint. If the boat’s paint is in good condition, sanding isn’t necessary. However, if the gelcoat is dull, repaired, or scratched, we advise sanding the surface first using an orbital sander and sanding discs.
