Peel Ply Tape (also called peel ply) is ideal for smaller projects or repairs. This way, you don’t need to purchase an entire roll of peel ply fabric.
Using tear ply helps you avoid extensive sanding and improves the quality of your laminate. Simply apply the tape to the laminate and press it down with a de-airing roller. This removes excess resin and creates an even surface. After curing, peel off the peel ply to reveal a lightly textured surface. You can immediately continue laminating, bonding, or coating on this surface—no sanding required!
The peel ply tape is also flexible and easy to apply over corners. It can be wrapped effortlessly around curved shapes such as masts, tubes, or bicycle frames.
