Product description

Do you want to renovate an existing PU or epoxy floor, improve its UV resistance, or are you not satisfied with the current colour or final result? Then PU SG Coloured polyurethane topcoat is the perfect solution for you!

PU SG Coloured Coating is a 2-component, satin gloss polyurethane topcoat. This coloured polyurethane coating is water-based and offers good wear resistance. An important feature of this smooth coating is its bacteriostatic properties, which means that microorganisms cannot multiply on the coating. This makes PU SG Coloured Coating particularly suitable for use in hospitals and laboratories.

Are you looking for a transparent satin gloss topcoat to protect your flooring system? Then choose Quartzline Coating PU SG NF Satin Gloss.

Benefits of Quartzline Coating PU SG Coloured

  • Easy to clean.
  • Aliphatic coating with high resistance to yellowing.
  • Highly wear-resistant.
  • Low VOC content, in accordance with AgBB.

Directions for use

This satin gloss PU topcoat is easy to use. Follow the instructions below or refer to the technical documentation. Sand the substrate with P220 grit before application.

  • While stirring, add all of component B to component A.
  • Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained (at least 3 minutes).
  • Allow the mixture to pre-react for 10 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into a clean bucket, pass it through a sieve and mix again to ensure that no unmixed material remains.
  • Do not pour the coating directly onto the floor. Instead, pour a small amount into a paint tray. Work wet-on-wet and avoid puddling.
  • Use a velour roller to apply the coating. Load the roller in the paint tray and roll off any excess until it no longer drips.
  • Apply the coating to the floor using crosswise strokes. Do not work on areas that are too large, as this may cause the coating to start drying before application is complete. Work systematically, section by section, to prevent lap marks. With this coating, it can be difficult to see which areas have already been coated.
