Sikaflex-295 UV Interior Sealing

Sikaflex-295 UV is a one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant specially developed for bonding plastic glazing in marine applications. This paste-like adhesive and sealant cures by reacting with moisture in the air, forming a durable, permanently elastic bond. Sikaflex-295 UV is ideally suited for both interior and exterior sealing applications. It complies with the stringent international marine regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is Wheelmark approved.

Applications

Sikaflex-295 UV has been specially developed for the marine industry, where it is used for bonding and sealing plastic glazing on boats and ships. Thanks to its excellent weather resistance, it is also highly suitable for sealing joints exposed to weathering. Sikaflex-295 UV adheres well to a wide range of substrates, including aluminium (bare or anodised), GRP (glass-fibre reinforced polyester), stainless steel, wood, two-component coatings, and plastics such as polycarbonate (PC) and acrylic (PMMA). Always carry out adhesion and compatibility tests on the intended substrates under actual application conditions before use.
