Sikaflex 295UV has been specially developed for bonding and sealing plastic windows for marine applications. This Sikaflex window sealant consists of 1 component and has a pasty consistency that cures by exposure to humidity. Sikaflex 295UV window sealant is essential if the window is fitted to the cabin by screws on the outside. The sealant complies with International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulations.

Applications
Sikaflex 295 UV has been specially developed for the marine industry, where it is used to bond and seal plastic glazing materials in boats and ships. Because of its excellent weatherability this product can also be used to seal joints in exposed areas. Suitable substrates are aluminum (bright or anodized), GRP (polyester resin), stainless steel, wood, 2-component coatings and plastic glazing materials (PC, PMMA). Test with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
