Sikaflex 291i was specially developed for yachts and shipbuilding. The 1-component polyurethane sealant has good non-sag properties and low VOC content. Sikaflex 291i cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture and meets the low flame spread requirement of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Applications
This multifunctional Sikaflex is widely used in yacht building and shipbuilding. The sealant is suitable for making elastic, vibration-resistant joint seals and can be used in various interior sealing and adhesive applications. Sikaflex 291i adheres very well to materials commonly used in yacht and shipbuilding structures. For example, this product has very good adhesion to wood, metals, metal primers, 2-component coatings, ceramic materials and plastics (e.g. polyester). This product is intended for use by experienced professionals only. Always carry out preliminary tests in advance on common substrates and under local conditions to determine adhesion and material compatibility.
