Sikaflex 291i is a non-sag 1-component poly-urethane sealant which was specially developed for for yachts and shipbuilding. The 1-component polyurethane sealant has good standing ability and low VOC content. Sikaflex 291i cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture and meets the low spread of flame requirements set out by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Applications
This multifunctional Sikaflex is widely used in yachtbuilding and shipbuilding. The sealant is suitable for making elastic, vibration-resistant joint seals and can be used in various interior sealing and adhesive applications. Sika Sikaflex 291i adheres very well to materials commonly used in yacht and shipbuilding structures. For example, this product has a very good adhesion to wood, metals, metal primers, 2-component system coatings, ceramic materials and plastics (e.g. polyester). This product is only suitable for use by experienced professionals. Always carry out tests in advance on common substrates and under local conditions to determine adhesion and material compatibility.
