Variopox Impregnating Resin is a two-component epoxy system based on a solvent-free epoxy resin. This high-quality epoxy system can be used as a resin for bonding, conserving and laminating. Variopox Impregnating resin is paintable with IJmopox HB coating or Double coat in colour and is suitable for laminating with glass fabric or bonding with various fillers.

Suitable for: polyester, wood and woodcore
Mixing ratio: 2:1 (2 parts base, 1 part hardener, by weight)
Colour: transparent (high gloss)
To be processed at: 15 to 25°C
Potlife: 20 minutes
Dust dry: after 4 hours
Recoating interval: after 24 hours
Consumption: 6 to 8 m2 per litre per coat
Size: a set of 750 ml and a set of 7.5 kg
Applications
The impregnating epoxy can be used for various purposes, including:
- Universally applicable for gluing, conversing and laminating.
- Can be used in combination with fibreglass, carbon fibre and Kevlar.
- Good resistance to water and various chemicals.
- Sandable.
