Sikaflex 291i is a non-sag 1-component polyurethane sealant which is specially developed for yachts and shipbuilding. The 1-component polyurethane sealant has good non-sag properties and low VOC content. Sikaflex 291i cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture and meets the low flame spread requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Applications
Sikaflex 291i is a multipurpose product widely used in yacht and ship construction. The sealant is suitable for making elastic, vibration-resistant joint sealing and can be used in various interior sealing applications. Sika Sikaflex 291i bonds extremely well to materials commonly used in marine construction like wood, metals, metal primers, 2-component paint systems, ceramic materials and plastics (e.g. polyester). This product is only suitable for use by experienced professionals. Always carry out preliminary tests under actual conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
