Epifanes PP Vernis Extra is a 2 component professional high gloss base varnish with UV-filter. This varnish has a high filling capacity and has excellent scratch, impact, shock and wear resistant properties. It is resistant to various chemicals, alcohols, soft drinks, water and aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. With good adhesion to teak and other oily woods, this varnish can be applied on every type of marine wood. The varnish has a great elasticity. It is therefore suitable for masts and other moving wooden parts of the boat.
Applications Epifanes Varnish Extra
This professional varnish is extremely suitable as:
- Professional base varnish, sealer and/or grain filling varnish for new work on bare solid wood and plywood for both for inside and outside above the waterline.
- Isolating varnish on oily tropical wood types, in clear coat systems.
- Build-up varnish. If you use this product for this application, you should finish it with Epifanes Poly-urethane Yacht Varnish or a 1-component clear boat varnish.
