Epifanes PP Varnish Extra

Epifanes PP Varnish Extra is a professional 2-component gloss basecoat with UV filter. This varnish has a high filling capacity and excellent scratch, impact, shock, and wear resistance. It is resistant to various chemicals, alcohols, soft drinks, water and aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. With good adhesion to teak and other oily woods, this varnish is ideal for use on and around boats. The varnish ensures sufficient elasticity and is therefore suitable for masts and other working wooden parts of the boat.

Epifanes varnish provides a deep, long-lasting shine and accentuates the natural structure of the wood. Thanks to its high elasticity, the varnish remains flexible and prevents cracking during temperature fluctuations. The UV-resistant formula protects the wood from aging and yellowing, while the excellent adhesion and flow guarantee a professional end result. Ideal for use on ships, yachts, furniture, and other wooden surfaces exposed to harsh conditions.

Applications Epifanes varnish

This professional varnish is extremely suitable as:

• Primer, sealer and filling coat for bare wood (interior and exterior above the waterline).
• Isolation varnish for tropical woods, including teak, in clear varnish systems.
• Topcoat varnish: if this product is used as a topcoat, it must be finished with Epifanes Polyurethane Yacht Varnish or a single-component clear boat varnish.
