Tec7 WP7-201 Instant Waterproof

WP7-201 is the latest spray for waterproof and flexible sealing from Tec7’s Waterprotect product range. This versatile product is suitable for sealing, repairing and protecting a wide range of surfaces. Tec7 WP7-201 forms an elastic, waterproof coating that protects against impacts and stone chips and impacts while also reducing vibrations and noise. Once cured, the product can be sanded and painted over.

Directions for use

• Apply WP7-201 to a clean, dry substrate. If necessary, clean the surface with Tec7 Cleaner and/or Multiclean. Lightly sand smooth surfaces and protect surrounding materials if necessary.
• Shake the aerosol can well for 1 minute after the mixing ball has been released.
• Apply WP7-201 from a distance of 25 to 40 cm. Start with a thin layer and gradually build up to a layer thickness of approximately 0.5 mm. Allow 10 minutes between coats.
• After use, turn the aerosol can upside down and spray until the nozzle is clear.

Clean tools immediately with Tec7 Cleaner. Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically. The coating can be painted over with most paints and lacquers after 90 minutes. Test adhesion to plastics, powder coatings, exotic woods and bituminous materials before application. 

One 500 ml aerosol can covers approximately 1 m² (at a layer thickness of approximately 0.5 mm).
