Product description
Tikalflex Contact 12 is a powerful, universal one-component MS-polymer adhesive. This high-performance adhesive sealant is specifically developed for demanding applications in construction, yacht building, and the caravan and marine industries. It combines very high final strength with long-lasting elasticity, making it ideal for structural bonding applications exposed to vibration, mechanical loads and moisture.
Tikalflex Contact 12 provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of common materials without the need for a primer. It also cures reliably on damp substrates and even under water.

Tikalflex Contact 12 is a true all-round adhesive for marine and caravan applications, suitable for:
- Bonding vibrating constructions such as metal constructions, containers, wagons, ships, caravans and vehicle bodies.
- Structural bonding in (prefab) construction.
- Bonding of façade panels, insulation boards, thresholds, window sills and tiles.
- Bonding and sealing of natural stone and mirrors.
- Sealing lightly expanding joints and construction seams.
- Applications in wet areas.
- Bonding and sealing of countertops and sinks.
- All-round adhesive for marine and caravan use.
For bonding windows (glass, polycarbonate and acrylic), we recommend using Tikalflex PCW14 Window Sealant.

Bepaal van uit welke grondstof de lijm moet bestaan. Epoxy lijmen zijn zeer sterk maar voorbereiden van de ondergrond is zeer belangrijk. Methyl Methacrylaatlijmen hechten aan vele ondergronden zonder dat intensieve voorbehandeling noodzaklijk is. Polyurethaan lijmen zijn vaak UV bestendig en transparant.
