Use polyester topcoat in RAL colours to finish your polyester product. This polyester topcoat gives a silk-gloss finish with a slight structure. If desired, the polyester topcoat can be sanded flat and polished to a high gloss. Polyester topcoat is highly resistant to water, chemicals and temperature. This makes polyester topcoat extremely suitable for your boat or pond.
We supply topcoat in all RAL colours. If you choose your desired colour, we will deliver the topcoat pre-coloured to your home.
How to process polyester topcoat
Lightly sand the polyester surface and clean it with acetone. Then add 2% hardener and mix the polyester topcoat well. When working with topcoat, always use nitril gloves and a fume mask. After the topcoat is mixed well, you have a processing time of about 20 minutes at room temperature. Now apply the topcoat with a fleece paint roller and use a paint brush for hard-to-reach areas. Then let the topcoat cure.
