RESION Topcoat is an ISO-NPG polyester topcoat available in all RAL colors. The top coating is suitable for finishing polyester products and, thanks to the ISO-NPG quality, is ideally suited for boat repair and yacht building. RESION Topcoat provides a satin finish with a light structure. If desired, you can sand the polyester topcoat flat and polish it to a high gloss.
The polyester paint is very resistant to water, chemicals and temperature, which makes the polyester topcoat extremely suitable for boats and ponds. For making swimming pools we recommend the special topcoat voor swimming pools. This coating is highly resistant to chlorine water and is available in various shades of blue. Polyester topcoat from RESION is also available as a clear topcoat.
ISO-NPG topcoat
RESION topcoat is of ISO-NPG quality. This gives the polyester paint a premium quality. The benefits of an ISO-NPG certified top coat include increased color retention, gloss level and chemical resistance. How to process polyester topcoat
Lightly sand the polyester surface and clean it with acetone. Then add 2% hardener and mix the polyester topcoat well. When working with topcoat, always use latex gloves and a fume mask. After the topcoat is mixed well, you have a processing time of about 20 minutes at room temperature. Now apply the topcoat with a fleece paint roller and use a paint brush for hard-to-reach areas. Then let the topcoat cure.
