Product description
Riwax RS02 has been specially developed for polishing heavily weathered or dull gelcoat surfaces. It also effortlessly removes sanding scratches from grit P1000 to P2000 and is suitable as a polishing compound for epoxy or repair spots. Riwax RS 02 Compound Medium is silicone-free.
Tip: for treating the surface of dark-coloured boats we recommend Riwax RS 06 (high-gloss polish).
Use of Riwax RS02
Use Riwax RS02 for:
- Weathered gelcoat.
- Dull gelcoat.
- Sanding scratches (P1000 - P2000).
Apply a small amount of Riwax RS02 to a lightly sanded surface. Use a rotary polisher (800-1400 rpm) in combination with a sheepskin (recommended) or blue polishing pad. Do not apply pressure to fresh paintwork. In the case of hard lacquer, slowly increase the speed and apply more pressure.
Keep polishing until the product is well rubbed in. Remove polishing residues with a microfibre cloth and, if necessary, treat the surface with Riwax RS04.
