Has the gelcoat of your boat become slightly weathered or dull as a result of, for example, light scuff marks or fender scratches? Just use Riwax RS04 to restore the shine to your gelcoat. Compound Fine is also suitable for polishing epoxy and it effortlessly removes P2000 to P4000 grit sand scratches.
When do you use Riwax RS04 Compound Fine?
Use the fine cleaner RS04 if your boat still looks good and doesn't need to be polished:
- Slightly weathered gelcoat
- Mild fender scratches
Instructions for use
Attach a sheepskin (or blue Riwax polishing pad) with an intermediate disc to the support plate of a rotary polisher. Then apply a small amount of Riwax RS04 to the pad and first spread the polish over the surface. Then polish the surface first at a low speed (approx. 800 rpm). You can increase the speed a little while polishing, up to a maximum of 1,000 rpm. Process the polish until a shine and a mirror image appear, before applying new polish.
Keep polishing until the product is well absorbed. Remove any residue with a microfibre cloth.
