Riwax RS02 has been specially developed for polishing strongly weathered or dull gelcoat surfaces. In addition, the polish effortlessly removes P1000 to P2000 grit sand scratches and is suitable for polishing epoxy or for repairing spots. Riwax RS02 Compound Medium is silicon-free.

Tip: for dark coloured boats we advise to treat the surface with Riwax RS06 (high gloss polish) after polishing.

Instructions for use of RS02 Compound Medium

Use medium cleaner RS02 in case of:

Weathered gelcoat.
Dull gelcoat.
Scratches (P1000 - P2000).

Apply a small quantity of Riwax RS02 to a lightly sanded surface. Work with a rotating polisher (800-1400 rpm) in combination with a sheepskin (recommended) or blue polishing pad. Do not apply pressure to fresh paintwork. In case of hard lacquer, slowly increase the rpm and apply more pressure.

Keep polishing until the product is well absorbed. Remove any residue with a microfiber cloth and, if necessary, treat the surface with Riwax RS04.
