Product description
Riwax RS02 has been specially developed for polishing strongly weathered or dull gelcoat surfaces. In addition, the polish effortlessly removes P1000 to P2000 grit sand scratches and is suitable for polishing epoxy or for repairing spots. Riwax RS02 Compound Medium is silicon-free.
Tip: for dark coloured boats we advise to treat the surface with Riwax RS06 (high gloss polish) after polishing.
When do you use RS02?
Use medium cleaner RS02 in case of:
- Weathered gelcoat.
- Dull gelcoat.
- Scratches (P1000 - P2000).
Directions for use
Attach a sheepskin polishing pad with an intermediate disc to the backing plate of a rotary polishing machine. Then apply a small amount of Riwax RS02 to the wool pad and spread the polish evenly over the surface. Start polishing at a low speed (around 800 RPM). You can slightly increase the speed during polishing up to a maximum of 1,000 RPM. Work the polish until a shine and reflection appear before applying more product.
Remove any residue with a microfibre cloth and, if necessary, treat the surface with Riwax RS04 (compound fine)
