Red micro balloons are lightweight phenol spheres that you simply mix into epoxy. After mixing, the resin will turn brown.
This filler is mainly used for wooden parts that need a transparent finish. The brown colour then makes the fillets stand out less. The mixture is lightweight, so red micro balloons are also widely used where weight is a decisive factor. Before finishing, micro balloons should be coated with a new layer of epoxy.

Dosage: approx. 20% (weight) for putties
