Red microballoons
At a glance
- Lightweight filler for epoxy
- Perfect for fillets
- Easily sandable
Product description
Red microballoons are lightweight phenol spheres that you simply mix into epoxy. After mixing, the resin will turn brown.
This filler is mainly used for wooden parts that need a transparent finish. The brown colour then makes the fillets stand out less. The mixture is lightweight, so red micro balloons are also widely used where weight is a decisive factor. Before finishing, micro balloons should be coated with a new layer of epoxy.
