Unidirectional Glass Fibre Tape (UD, 600 g/m²) is specifically developed for the local reinforcement and stiffening of structures. This unidirectional glass fibre tape is ideally suited for small repairs, corner reinforcements, and for wrapping pipes, profiles and frames. Because virtually all glass fibres are oriented in a single direction (along the length of the tape), this material provides maximum tensile and bending strength in that direction.
Unlike traditional woven glass fibre tapes, in which the fibres run in multiple directions, UD glass fibre tape is ideal for applications where the load is primarily in one direction. This allows high stiffness and strength to be achieved with relatively little material. The result is a lightweight, strong and efficient laminate.
The glass fibre tape is 100 mm wide, easy to process, and combines excellently with epoxy resin, vinyl ester resin and polyester resin.

Unidirectional glass fabric tape 600 gr/m2 (100 mm) is suited for small repairs, corner reinforcements, pipe and frame wrapping and similar applications. UD fabric tape is often used a a reinforcing fabric. Almost all the fibres are in the longitudinal direction of the tape. You can use this tape for reinforcing skateboards, hockey sticks, longboards, wooden constructions etc.
Unidirectional glass fabric tape is 100 mm wide and weighs 600 gr/m2. The unidirectional fabric tape works very well in combination with epoxy, vinylester and polyester.
