Tec7 Facade Waterproof (WP7-401) is an easy-to-use, transparent water-repellent treatment for exterior walls from the Tec7 Waterprotect series. WP7-401 helps prevent frost damage, heat loss through walls, rain penetration, and algae and moss growth on north-facing facades. In addition, WP7-401 reduces dirt adhesion, making facades easier to clean.
Tec7 Facade Waterproof is easy to apply and is white during application but becomes transparent after absorption. The product is suitable for all porous mineral surfaces and is fully absorbed within 30 to 60 minutes. It contains no solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Treat natural stone completely or cover it to prevent staining. Wood can also be treated, but first test the product on a sample and allow it to dry for 24 hours. Immediately remove any spills with a damp cloth and rinse with clean water. Clean tools with clean water. Remove dried product residues with Tec7 Cleaner.

The recommended application temperature range indicates the conditions under which the product can generally be applied and cured properly. Three temperatures matter:
A cold substrate can cause condensation and affect adhesion. At higher temperatures, two-component products may react faster, reducing their working time. Check the dew point and follow the product instructions.
The chemical base describes the chemistry of an adhesive, sealant, resin or coating, such as epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, (methyl)methacrylate or a hybrid polymer. It affects curing, flexibility and adhesion. Products with the same chemical base are not necessarily suitable for the same applications.
The period for which an unopened product remains usable under the specified storage conditions. Check whether the period starts from the manufacturing date or another date. Shelf life may be shorter after opening, especially for products sensitive to air or moisture.
Solids content is the proportion of material remaining after volatile components have evaporated from a coating. It is stated as a percentage by weight or by volume (%); these are not interchangeable. Volume solids content helps estimate dry film thickness: with 60% volume solids, a 100 µm wet film will theoretically produce approximately 60 µm of dry film.
