RESION White Blooming Pigment

White Blooming Pigment is the ideal pigment to create beautiful flower effects in epoxy. Traditional pigment pastes and alcohol inks quickly sink to the bottom, which makes them unsuitable forcreating flower effects. Thanks to the unique formula of White Blooming Pigment, this does not happen, which allows you to create a beautiful flower effect in combination with Piñata Alcohol Ink. This pigment is also called 'blooming paste'.

Create a 3D Bloom Effect with epoxy

RESION Blooming Pigment is easy to use, so you can easily create the 3D Bloom Effect with epoxy and alcohol ink. Follow the steps below to create the flower effect.

1. Make the epoxy resin by mixing components A and B in the correct ratio.
2. Let the epoxy rest until the resin is approximately 40°C (use a meat thermometer to measure the temperature, for example).
3. Pour approximately 20 grams into a new mixing cup and add one drop of White Blooming Pigment.
4. Pour the remaining epoxy casting resin into a silicone mould of your choice, such as a coaster mould. Preferably use RESION UV CAST25 Epoxy for this.
5. Drop alcohol ink into the epoxy resin.
6. Apply the Blooming White in a circle or spiral around the alcohol ink.
7. Draw the desired pattern in the epoxy with a mixing spatula.
8. Let the epoxy harden for approximately 24 hours and carefully remove the result from the mould.
