RESION UV Epoxy resin
- Highly UV resistant
- Highly transparent
- Mixing ratio: 100:60
RESION UV Epoxy resin (UV Cast25) is a high quality epoxy casting resin with very high UV resistance and transparency. This UV resin had been specially developed to combat long-term discolouration by sunlight. So there is no need to add a UV stabiliser to this product! This makes RESION UV epoxy resin even easier to use and very versatile. In addition, this makes the quality of the resin much higher, which in turn gives better results.
Benefits of RESION UV Epoxy resin
- Very high quality epoxy.
- Highest UV resistance on the market.
- Highly transparent.
- Solvent-free.
- Odourless.
- Can be poured up to 3 cm thick.
- Adheres to almost all surfaces (like concrete, wood, plastics).
UV resistant resin
RESION's epoxy resin has been extensively tested for UV resistance. By intensively testing the resin for an extended period in a specially developed UV cabinet, we can guarantee the highest quality and wide applicability. The UV-resistant resin is therefore ideal to use for art, tables, jewellery, countertops and much more.
Easy to use
Like all other RESION resins, this epoxy resin is easy to use. Simply mix the base and hardener together according to the ratio indicated on the packaging (100:60) and make sure to stir well for 3 minutes. We also have handy taps for the jerrycans (from 8 kg sets). You can also pour the epoxy into small plastic bottles to simplify distribution. Processing RESION UV Epoxy is very simple if you follow these steps:
- Weigh the base component (A) and hardener (B) thoroughly according to the mixing ratio indicated on the packaging (100 parts by weight of resin to 60 parts by weight of hardener).
- Mix the base and hardener well for 3 minutes. Also scrape well along the sides and bottom of the mixing cup!
- If desired, add pigments to colour the resin.
- Then apply the epoxy to the surface you are going to use (the pot life is 30-60 minutes at 20℃).
- After application, let the UV-resistant epoxy cure for about 12-18 hours before it is manageable (note: after 3-5 days, the epoxy is only fully cured).
