Versachem Prime Lok 245 thread sealant is an easy way to mount vacuum fittings leak-free. Leak-free mounting of threaded fittings is important to achieve a deep vacuum.
This threadseal is medium strength, so it can also be disassembled with normal tools. In addition, this thread seal from Versachem has a viscosity of 1000 mPa.s. and is hand-tight after 30 minutes.
