SoftSand rubber particles

SoftSand is a special rubber sand which adds non-slip properties to paints and coatings. It can be used in epoxy floor coating or DD paint, for example. SoftSand is packaged in a sprinkle container, so you can easily sprinkle the product over the surface.
Use of SoftSand non-slip particles
SoftSand non-slip particles can be used in two different ways: Mix 'n Go Method and Broadcast Method.
- Mix 'n Go Method | mixing SoftSand into the paint
Mix the non-slip particles into the paint, and apply with a roller. Spread the non-slip particles with a textured roller. Apply 2 coats of paint in this way, using the non-slip powder bags.
- Broadcast Method | Spreading SoftSand over the paint
Apply the paint in a slightly thicker layer than usual. Sprinkle the non-slip powder into the paint so that the entire surface is covered. After curing of the paint, you can wipe away the excess particles (they can be reused) and paint the surface again.
Consumption of SoftSand
Mix 'n Go method
- 150 ml Softsand is sufficient for 1 kg DD paint.
- 500 ml SoftSand is sufficient for 4 kg DD paint.
