SoftSand rubber particles

SoftSand is a special rubber sand which adds anti-slip properties to lacquers and coatings. It can be used in epoxy floor coating or DD Lacquer, for example. SoftSand is packaged in a sprinkle container, so you can easily sprinkle the product over the surface.
Use of SoftSand anti-slip granules
SoftSand anti-slip granules can be used in two different ways: Mix 'n Go Method and Broadcast Method.
- Mix 'n Go Method | mixing SoftSand into the varnish
Mix the anti-slip grit into the lacquer, and apply with a roller. Spread the anti-slip grit with a textured roller. Apply 2 coats of lacquer in this way, using the anti-slip powder bags..
- Broadcast Method | Spreading SoftSand over the varnish
Apply the varnish in a slightly thicker layer than usual. Sprinkle the non-slip powder into the lacquer so that the entire surface is covered. After curing of the lacquer, you can wipe away the excess granules (they can be reused) and lacquer the surface again.
Consumption of SoftSand
Mix 'n Go method
- 150 ml Softsand is sufficient for 1 kg DD lacquer.
- 500 ml SoftSand is sufficient for 4 kg DD lacquer.
