Acrystal Optima is a low-cost casting material. Ideal for larger projects where price is an issue. This material is also suitable for making gel coats so that the surface of the casting can be made with the same material.
Acrystal Optima is water-based, fast-curing and safe to use. It gives a hard surface and is safe for foams such as polystyrene.
Casting Acrystal Optima can be done ideally in silicone moulds.

Mixing ratio: 1:3 (by weight)
Processing time: approx. 8-10 minutes (the processing time can be extended with a retarder)
Colour: ivory white (can be coloured with pigments)
Hardness: 85 (shore D)
Curing time (90%): approx. 6 hours (at 20°C)
Full cure: after approx. 72 hours
Packaging:
13.3 kg (10 kg powder, 3.3 kg liquid)
80 kg (60 kg powder, 20 kg liquid)

Acrystal Optima is suitable for castings. For other applications, we sell other types of acrystal:
