The origin of DD-Compound lies in the search for a better way to produce composite parts. While studying mechanical engineering and working on a monocoque design as part of a student team, Dominik developed an innovative hose that allows air to pass through but blocks resin: the MTI (Membrane Tube Infusion) hose. This invention turned out to be the key to controlled and successful resin infusion, and it remains at the heart of the DD-Compound product line.
