With this kit, you can easily make a plaster cast of a hand or foot—a beautiful keepsake that remains special even after years. The kit contains all the necessary materials, and with our clear instructional video, you can start working with the alginate moulding powder and porcelain plaster right away. The materials are skin-friendly and set quickly, giving you a stunning result in no time.

Directions for use

• Clean your hands thoroughly before making the mould.
• Prepare the alginate rubber in a mixing cup with lukewarm water (approx. 20°C). You can then immediately press your hand into it.
• Create the mould by keeping your hand in the alginate for 10 minutes (try to move as little as possible).
• After 10 minutes, remove your hand from the mould. Gently move your hand up and down; it should come out easily.
• Mix the porcelain plaster in the small mixing cup and pour it into the mould.
• After 30 minutes, remove the casting from the alginate mould. The alginate mold is single-use and can be broken away.

Is this kit skin-friendly?

Yes! Thanks to the use of alginate rubber, a natural and biodegradable material, this kit is safe to use, even for children. Making the mold feels comfortable and causes no irritation.
