With 3M Scotch-Weld DP8010 Acrylic Adhesive you can effortlessly bond low surface energy plastics, such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), to each other without surface treatment. These materials are often difficult to bond, which makes DP8005 Acrylic Adhesive a very popular adhesive. Cures at room temperature without heat or other chemicals to eliminate complex adhesion processes. In addition, the adhesive has excellent resistance to water and humidity combined with very good chemical resistance results in a bond that can withstand a variety of applications and conditions.

Glue for PP (polypropylene)
Polypropylene, often abbreviated as PP, is a fairly hard plastic with high impact resistance and chemical resistance. The material is lightweight and is used for containers and jerry cans, among other things. Not every glue is suitable for bonding this plastic, but with 3M Scotch-Weld DP8005 you can easily bond PP to various surfaces.
In addition to bonding PP, you can also use this acrylic glue very well for bonding PE (polyethylene), HDPE, ABS, PMMA, aluminum, bare steel and galvanized steel. A very versatile glue! Because these plastics are processed in so many products, you will certainly need the 3M glue regularly when you are doing DIY.
