Plexus MA422 Methacrylate Adhesive

Plexus MA422 is a two-component methacrylate adhesive specifically developed for structural bonding of thermoplastics, metals, and composite constructions. The adhesive is mixed in a 10:1 ratio and has a working time of approximately 17 to 20 minutes. At a temperature of 23°C, Plexus MA422 reaches around 75% of its final strength within 35 to 40 minutes.
This adhesive is widely used in composite joints within the transport and marine sectors, partly because minimal surface preparation is required. Plexus MA422 stands out due to its unique combination of excellent fatigue resistance, very high impact strength, and superior toughness, resulting in durable and reliable bonds.
