G8 Super Polyurethane resin

- High-gloss PU resin
- UV-resistant
- Scratch-resistant
G8-Super Polyurethane Resin is a anti-yellowing 1-component high gloss coating/varnish based on aliphatic polyurethane. The varnish is very suitable for wood, epoxy and polyester laminates. G8 Super Polyurethane Resin is a high-gloss, scratch-resistant, UV-resistant lacquer that adheres to most porous substrates and has various application possibilities. This polyurethane resin has excellent resistance to solvents, chemicals, diluted acids and bases.
Applications
G8 Super Polyurethane Resin is suitable for the following applications:
- Waterproofing porous substrates.
- High-gloss varnish for interior and exterior woodwork.
G8 Super is suitable for sealing materials such as wood, copper, epoxy, polyurethane and polyester laminate.
Directions for use
- Make sure the surface is dry, free of grease and dust.
- Apply G8 Super with a brush or roller (consumption: approximately 200-300g/m², depending on the surface).
- For porous surfaces: dilute the first layer with 20-25% PU thinner, the second layer with 0-25%, and apply the final layer undiluted.
- Apply the next layer after 2-4 hours, when the previous layer is tack-free. Allow a maximum interval of 8 hours.
- For a smooth result, it is recommended to lightly sand the surface before applying the final layer.
- Close the opened can well, as the contents can react with atmospheric moisture and harden.
When working with polyurethane resin, wear a suitable vapour mask.
