Farécla Profile 200 Select (Liquid Compound)

Farécla Profile 200 Select is a coarse polishing compound developed for use on gelcoat. The polishing compound removes scratches, imperfections and contaminants from the surface. In addition, this coarse polishing compound removes P800 sanding marks or finer from gelcoat surfaces and produces an attractive gloss.

Profile 200 Select is ideal for polishing boats and caravans. Farécla’s polishing compound can also be used on painted surfaces, such as automotive paintwork.

Which polishing pad do I need?

Farécla Profile 200 Select can easily be used in combination with one of the polishing pads listed below. These pads are highly suitable for use with coarse polishing compounds.

Directions for use

Profile 200 Select can be applied both by machine (recommended) and by hand. Follow the steps below.

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and cool to the touch.
2. Shake the bottle well before use.
3. Apply a small amount of product to the polishing pad.
4. Spread the polishing compound over the surface while the machine is switched off.
5. Machine polish at high speed.
6. Keep the polishing pad flat against the surface, apply minimal pressure and let the machine do the work.
7. Wipe the surface with a polishing cloth and repeat if necessary.
8. Protect the polished surface with Farécla Profile Polymer UV Wax (machine application) or Profile UV Wax (hand application).

If necessary, sand the surface before polishing to:

• P800 or finer (polyester resin or gelcoat)
• P1000 or finer (vinylester resin or gelcoat)
• P1200 or finer (epoxy resin or gelcoat)
