White micro balloons (Glass Bubbles)
- Lightweight filler for epoxy
- Easy to sand
- Can be mixed with polyurethane
White glass microspheres or glass bubbles are used to make easy-to-use sanding pastes. As a basic recipe, a mixture of 1 part white micro balloons and 1 part red micro balloons can be mixed (depending on the volume).
Glass bubbles can also be added to PU resin or other casting resins to make them lighter. Before painting, microballoons should be coated with another layer of epoxy.
Properties:
Specific weight: 0.10-0.20 gr/cc
Dosage: 10% for castings, 15% for adhesives and 25% for putties.
