Sika Primer 206 G+P

- 1-component primer
- Black
- Easy to use
Sika Primer-206 G+P is a solvent-based black primer, which reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. Sika primer is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika's 1-component polyurethanes.
Sika Primer-206 G+P is used to improve adhesion on substrates such as float glass, ceramic-coated glass, pre-coatings, painted surfaces and some plastics and metals. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
Benefits Sika primer 206
- Enhanced adhesion on a wide variety of substrates.
- Easy to apply by brush or roller.
Instructions for use
- Make the surface clean, dry and free from grease/grease, oil, dust and other contaminants before working with Sika primer 206. You can improve adhesion to substrates by applying and/or combining a pre-treatment process, such as roughening, cleaning and activation.
- Shake the can very thoroughly until mixing ball rattles freely.
- Continue shaking for another minute (ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C).
- Now apply a thin but covering coat with a brush, foam or felt applicator.
- Tightly reseal container immediately after each use.
Consumption and application method depend on the specific characteristics of the substrate and the production process.
