Sika Primer-206 G+P

Sika Primer-206 G+P is a solvent-based black primer that cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer provides a bond between the substrate and the adhesive. Sika Primer-206 G+P is specifically formulated for the pre-treatment of bonding surfaces prior to the application of 1-component polyurethane adhesives.

Sika Primer-206 G+P is used to improve adhesion on substrates such as float glass, ceramic-coated glass, primed surfaces, painted surfaces and certain plastics and metals. We recommend carrying out tests with the actual substrates under the actual application conditions.

Instructions for use

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and other contaminants before applying Sika Primer-206 G+P. Adhesion to the substrate can be improved by using or combining pre-treatment methods such as roughening, cleaning and activation.
• Shake the can very thoroughly until the mixing ball rattles freely.
• Continue shaking for another minute. The ideal application and substrate temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C).
• Apply the primer carefully to create an even, fully covering coat.
• Tightly reseal the container immediately after each use.
