Product description

Want to make a weathered or damaged windowsill look like new again? With RESION SillFix Polyaspartic, the job is done in no time! This fast-curing polyaspartic coating is available in three colours, easy to apply without primer, and provides a waterproof, wear-resistant finish. It keeps your windowsill looking great while preventing further damage.

With 1 kg of RESION SillFix Polyaspartic, you can restore an area of approximately 1–1.5 m² (about 2–3 metres in length).

Tip: with the window sill repair kit you’ll have all materials at hand to start your project right away!

Directions for use

Clean the surface by degreasing (with acetone) and removing any loose parts.
Open component A and stir thoroughly with a mixing stick (the pigment may have settled at the bottom).
Pour the required amount of component A into a mixing cup. Only prepare small batches (300–500 grams). The pot life is approximately 20 minutes.
Add component B to component A and mix carefully until homogeneous. Scrape the sides and bottom of the cup while mixing.
Pour the mixture into a clean paint tray and stir once more.
Apply SillFix Polyaspartic coating generously. Use a brush for hard-to-reach areas and a short-pile roller for larger surfaces.
Allow the coating to cure.
Repeat all steps to apply a second layer.

Tip: optionally, sprinkle anti-slip granules into the first layer; once cured, remove any excess and continue finishing.

Note: the curing time depends on conditions. At 25°C and 25% humidity, the coating is lightly walkable after about 1 hour. The higher the temperature, the faster the curing process.
